We are a beautiful package of
complexity and it doesn't take a genius to recognize that health is
multi-dimentional. If we can learn to look after out
mental,physical and spiritual health, our well-being will improve
in leaps and bounds. What happens when we neglect this simple
formula....
Let's say maybe you let yourself become overweight, then you
stop going out for a social because your embarrassed you've gotten
so big, then your doc tells you have high blood pressure and your
at risk for coronary heart disease and your kid's at risk for
diabetes because he's overweight along side you. All at once, your
depressed, have no social life and have risked your very life as
well as your child's and your both in need of medical as well as
psychological help. Not a good scenario!!
Our health may not always be in our control, but for most of us
living in "modern" societies, we can usually point the finger at
ourselves when it comes to a vast majority of our common
ailments.
I know this may sound a little harsh, but some things are too
important to sugar coat and we all need to look after our
health, not just for ourselves, but also for our children, our
community and our planet
