WHAT IS FREEDOM



Do you feel shackled and/or out of control. In most cases we think of the cause of this state of being as originating with someone else, or another external factor. Sometimes it is, but more than likely, we can set ourselves free.


We are ultimately lazy creatures by nature, but we are designed for greatness. Everything in our biology is ready for action, but on the flip side, we are also hard wired for conservation of our species. We need action and recovery to get stronger. Unfortunately, we usually take the path of least resistance, which ends somewhere between the TV and the sofa, and often Modern society has made it ever so easy to use minimal muscle and brain. I could go on and on with examples, but I'm sure you catch my drift.


To put this in a nutshell, we have more times than not, imprisoned ourselves, or in the least, allowed ourselves to be imprisoned in a lifestyle and body which is ruining our health. Freedom is a decision, which starts the moment you decide to start thinking for yourself, and what's going to rejuvenate you, body, mind and soul.


We all know stories about people who have done miraculous things with great courage. People who, not only went against the odds, but kicked it's a$$! They decided to stop making excuses and take responsibility for their lives. Maybe today it's too big a step to take up marathon training, or go for that lifelong dream, but there are always steps that can be made, even if only in the mind. In fact, the mind is the best place to start. If you can think it and visualize it, it won't be long before the rest of you will start to move in that direction as well.
